About the Artist

Keidren Devas is a local Port Townsend basketmaker that has been making sculptural baskets for the past 7 years. She works with local wild cherry bark harvested from dead fallen trees, and gently configured sea kelp. Combined, they create eccentric and quirky baskets that have a distinct life of their own. Her baskets are on display at Roche Gallery and in numerous galleries throughout Washington and Oregon.
